ILOILO – The No. 1 drug suspect in the town of Pototan and the No. 4 priority target of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Iloilo fell on Wednesday, July 19.
Robert Kristian “RK” P. Dacara, 38, was arrested around 12 noon in the town’s Barangay P. Ledesma Ward.
“Main source siya kay may mga ginapangsugo siya. Kutob sa mga nasugo niya halos tanan nadakpan na, kag siya ang medyo madanlog. Once madakpan namon ang iya mga upod, siya gid ang nagagwa nga main source,” said Police Major Roy P. Tayona of the Pototan Municipal Police Station (MPS).
A police poseur buyer bought from Dacara a sachet of suspected shabu for P20,000, while eight more sachets were recovered. All weighed more or less 85 grams, with a standard drug price of P580,000.
The operation was conducted by the Pototan MPS, together with the Iloilo Provincial Police Office Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit and the 2nd Iloilo Provincial Mobile Force Company.
The suspect was detained at the Pototan MPS and faces charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
