ILOILO City – There is an illegal electrical connection inside the public market of Zarraga, Iloilo, two municipal government employees told the police.
Reynaldo Papa and Arthur Gabasa claimed the sub-meter of CD Store, owned by Jessie Bagahan, was connected without the knowledge and consent of the local government, a police report showed.
Police said Papa and Gabasa discovered the alleged power pilferage when they conducted an inspection and reading of all electric sub-meters at the public market around 3 p.m. on June 13.
They reported to the police station around 11 a.m. the following day./PN
