BACOLOD City – Two men died of electrocution in Barangay Miranda, Pontevedra, Negros Occidental.
They were the 22-year-old resident Johnny Gigantone and 32-year-old Jiboy Sordilla of Barangay 3, Pontevedra, a police report showed.
Gigantone and Sordilla were fixing an antenna at the former’s house when a power post of the Negros Occidental Electric Cooperative fell on them around 11 a.m. on Monday, police said.
The two were rushed to the Valladolid District Hospital in Valladolid, Negros Occidental where the attending physician pronounced them “dead on arrival.”/PN
