Pre-session caucus

CONVERSATION recorded before the session:

“So, what time will be our session?”

“Two hours from now, if all goes well.”

“Why, do they want the franchise or not? We are the ones who will decide that…do they understand? Ah, No pay, no franchise.”

“Well, did Kalbo settle it with AMORE?”

“I heard we will get P1M each.”

“Do you think dat ok? How many billions will they make? We are paid small time….sensillo.”

“There are 12 of us. Of course, No. 2 and No. 1 has to get more.”

“Do we have to give the SP Kabataan and Barangay? No, it should only be the elected Sanggonorrhian members!”

“We should not give Mila and Fighter, they are opportunists…I mean, opposition and we do not know which side they are.”

“They will rock the boat and ruin our sariling sikap project.”

“No, I know them.  As long as they are paid, they will join us. Remember, there is honor among thieves. Heh. Heh.”

“I heard they have already met with AMORE and made their own deal.”

“What? Talagang madasig kaliwat kanan.”

“Are you ok with the P1M? Dat is not enough for our election expenses, you know.”

“Hope Kalbo get us more. When will we be paid? I won’t cast my vote without receiving the money. Prankahan. Mahirap na.”

“They will just deliver the envelopes. You want yours delivered at the office or your house?”

“Not at home. My mother-in-law is there.”

“We have to get it in Manila then. I have the C-phone of AMORE bagman.”

“Can we just send someone?”

“No. The company wants to be sure the money is received by the proper person.”

“That’s the honest way of doing business.”

“Let us postpone the session then. Set it when we return from Manila after the economic switik…summit. Best wishes. I hope we all get re-elected. Only kawatan…ah, kagawads like us can serve the people.” (muzones_law_office@yahoo.com/PN)
