Prime mover truck ‘kills’ man, nephew

BACOLOD City – A man and his nephew were killed in a road mishap in Hacienda Busay in Barangay Efigenio Lizares, Talisay City, Negros Occidental.

Police identified them as Allan Bedonia, 55, and Rodrigo Bedonia, 22, both residents of the city’s Barangay Dos Hermanas.

According to police investigation, the two were onboard a motorcycle when sideswiped by a prime mover truck driven by 42-year-old Jose Kenneth Verbo around 3:40 p.m. on Feb. 13.

The Bedonias were rushed to the Talisay City Health Office where they were declared “dead on arrival.”

Verbo – resident of Barangay Tinampaan, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental – turned himself in to the Talisay City police station./PN
