ILOILO City – Police Brigadier General Rolando Miranda, director of the Police Regional Office (PRO)-6, once again reiterated to his men the “no take policy” on illegal gambling and illegal drugs.
Miranda said any officer caught engaging in illegal gambling and illegal drugs will face corresponding penalty and administrative sanctions.
“At isa pa, huwag nilang gamitin pangalan ko sa illegal activity nila kasi hindi allowed ang lahat na illegal sa akin,” Miranda stressed.
He called on the public to report to him illegal activities of the police via mobile number 0998-9673-651.
So far, Miranda said, no police personnel have been reported to be involved in illegal activities or taking some amount from gamblers or drug peddlers except for Police Staff Sergeant Jose Digcabo-on who was caught engaged in illegal cock derby in San Joaquin, Iloilo./PN
