ILOILO City – A total of 23 wanted persons were arrested across Western Visayas in just one day.
Record from the Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6) showed that from the morning of August 27 to August 28, two individuals accused of heinous crimes and 21 other wanted persons with lesser offenses were caught through the strength of arrest warrants.
Here is the breakdown of the arrests:
* Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office – 13
* Iloilo Police Provincial Office – four
* Iloilo City Police Office – three
* Bacolod City Police Office – two
* Capiz Police Provincial Office – one
PRO-6 director Brigadier General Jack Wanky lauded the concerned operatives who delivered these accomplishments.
“These arrests underscored your commitment and patience to your assigned tasks and signifies the PRO-6’s commitment to account the remaining wanted persons in the region. Our campaign continues as long as there are still wanted persons in our list,” Wanky added./PN
