ILOILO City – The Police Regional Office 6’s (PRO-6) weeklong anti-criminality campaign led to the arrest of 479 violators across the region.
Dubbed “Birada Semana,” the operations took place from February 10 to 16, covering 382 coordinated police operations targeting various offenses.
Data from the PRO-6 showed that 111 drug suspects were arrested and 241 wanted persons were collared.
Various police units also apprehended 21 individuals for possession of unlicensed firearms.
For illegal gambling, 106 persons were caught.
All suspects are currently detained pending proper legal procedures.
