The reassignments were contained in Special Order Number PRO-6 SO-RA-2019-655 dated April 30, 2019, said PRO-6 spokesperson Police Lieutenant Colonel Joem Malong.

Some of these officers already exceeded their two-year tour of duty in their last assignments.

Also, said Malong, their services were deemed needed in various PMFCs.

“There was nothing wrong with their performance in their last assignments. But we need to reassign them to various provincial mobile forces because, young as they are, they would be of great help to their new units,” said Malong.

The PRO-6 may be announcing another set of reshuffled police officers soon, she added./PN
