ILOILO City – The regional public information officer (RPIO) of the Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6) was relieved from post.
Police Major Mary Grace Borio, through Special Order No. PRO-6-SO-RA-2024-1611 dated April 1, 2024, was ordered to vacate her post as PRO-6 spokesperson. No reason for relief was stated.
Borio will be assigned to the Iloilo Police Provincial Office (IPPO).
Also, Police Lieutenant Colonel Arnel Solis was relieved from his post as intelligence officer of the Guimaras Police Provincial Office (GPPO) effective April 1.
Solis was ordered to go back to the PRO-6 where he formerly served as spokesperson from September 2021 to August 2022.
He vacated the position in 2022 to undergo mandatory schooling.
Panay News sources said Solis was pulled out from GPPO to replace Borio.
However, as of this writing, there was no information yet on the new PRO-6 spokesperson./PN
