ANTIQUE – The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) recently opened its Civil Registry System (CRS) outlet in this province, providing closer-to-home access to its services.

The newly-opened CRS Outlet is the fourth of its kind in Western Visayas and the 60th in the country.

Antiqueños and residents of nearby Iloilo towns no longer need to expend more time and resources to avail of the following civil registry services offered at the outlet:

* Copy Issuance – Issuance of copies of birth, marriage, and death certificates;

* Authentication – Process of authenticating copies of birth, marriage, and death documents issued by the Local Civil Registry Office (LCRO);

* CENOMAR – Issuance of a Certificate of No Marriage (CENOMAR) if no marriage record appears in the PSA database;

* CENODEATH – Issuance of a Certificate of No Death (CENODEATH) if no death record appears in the PSA database;

* Premium Annotation – Acceptance of requests for annotation;

* Viewable Online – Similar to the “Copy Issuance” service, except that the resulting document image is not printed on security paper. It is made accessible through the web via an access code. The availability of the document image exposed on the web is subject to an expiration period, and

* DOCPRINT – Those who availed of the “Viewable Online” service may generate birth, marriage, death certificates, and CENODEATH by presenting the Quick Response (QR) code.

While CRS Outlet-Antique is accepting walk-in clients, priority will be given to clients with online appointments made through https://appointment. psa.gov.ph beginning May 22.

Senior citizens, pregnant women, and persons with disabilities (PWD) will still be accommodated for walk-in transactions, including PhilID holders, but for a limited number of slots.

PSA Regional Statistical Services Office (RSSO) 6 officer-in-charge regional director Nelida Amolar said CRS Outlet was established to provide Antiqueños with their basic right to identity.

Meanwhile, on behalf of Assistant National Statistician Marizza Grande, Registration Officer IV Betchewell Matienzo from PSA Central Office-Civil Registration Services Division urged stakeholders to properly maintain the outlet and secure its operations to continuously serve the public in the many years ahead.

The CRS Outlet-Antique, located at the Xela Hotel in the capital town of San Jose de Buenavista, is open from Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. (PIA Antique)/PN
