MANILA – Pump prices of petroleum products will hike anew today, marking the fourth straight week of hikes for gasoline, diesel, and kerosene.
In separate advisories, Chevron Philippines Inc. (Caltex), Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. said they will increase prices per liter of gasoline by P0.80, diesel by P0.80, and kerosene by P0.85.
Petro Gazz will implement the same changes, excluding kerosene which it does not carry.
For its part, Cleanfuel will hike prices per liter of gasoline by P0.65 and diesel by P0.70.
The changes will take effect at 6 a.m. today for all the firms except for Caltex, which will implement the changes at 12:01 a.m., and Cleanfuel at 4:01 p.m. the same day.
Other firms have yet to make similar announcements for the week.
The latest data available from the Department of Energy indicate that year-to-date adjustments stand at a net increase of P13.35 per liter for gasoline, P10.90 per liter for diesel, and P8.70 per liter for kerosene.(GMA News)
