PUMP prices of petroleum products are set to be hiked this week, as fuel retailers yesterday announced upward adjustments after two straight weeks of rollbacks.
In separate advisories, Petron Corp., Seaoil Philippines Corp., and Shell Pilipinas Corp. said they will hike prices per liter of gasoline by P1.35, diesel by P1.30, and kerosene by P1.10.
Cleanfuel and Petro Gazz will implement the same changes, excluding kerosene which they do not carry.
The adjustments will take effect at 6 a.m. today except for Cleanfuel which will hike prices at 4:01 p.m. the same day.
Other firms have yet to make similar announcements for the week as of this writing.
Jetti Petroleum earlier projected price hikes of over P1 per liter this week, citing the impact of the heightened global economic uncertainties due to trade tensions on demand.
Firms last week rolled back prices per liter of gasoline by P3.60, diesel by P2.90, and kerosene by P3.30. (GMA Integrated News)
