ILOILO City – A bruise on the nose and a painful body were what a 19-year-old man sustained after he was mauled in Barangay Katilingban, Molo district, a police report showed.
Bryan Itchon Padilla of Barangay Compania, Molo told the police he was walking with gay friends when attacked at around 3:45 a.m. on Feb. 18 along Lopez Jaena Street.
Padilla identified his attackers as trisikad driver Rodel Alba and passengers Dave Adrian Trescipuna and Jecar Mejeca, all of Barangay Kasing-kasing, Molo.
The alleged attackers stopped next to them and suddenly landed on him a flurry of punches, Padilla told the police.
Padilla said the three left after the incident, leaving their trisikad behind.
Police referred the case to the barangay lupon./PN
