Puregold Price Club earns a spot on TIME’s prestigious “World’s Best Companies of 2025” list for the Asia-Pacific region.
The multi-channel retailer is ranked 381st in the TIME World’s Best Companies of 2025 for Asia-Pacific. It is one of 29 Filipino companies on the list.
“Puregold Price Club is honored to be among the 29 Philippine firms recognized as one of the World’s Best Companies in Asia-Pacific. This distinction reaffirms our unwavering
commitment to growth, transformation, and sustainability—core values that drive us to serve communities and create lasting impact,” said Ferdinand Vincent Co, President of Puregold Price Club Inc.

TIME said companies across the region were ranked based on three factors which were added on an equal percentage basis to form the final ranking score with a maximum of 100 points.
Employee satisfaction was evaluated based on survey data from 2023 from employees worldwide, focusing on Asia-Pacific. Data was collected from over 50,000 participants, who evaluated companies based on direct and indirect recommendations.
Financial performance was evaluated through data from Statista’s financial database. The companies needed a revenue of at least $100 million in 2023 to be considered.
Sustainability transparency was evaluated based on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) data from 2022, including carbon emissions intensity and reduction, along with the carbon disclosure project (CDP) rating.
Puregold Price Club operates in over 600 locations, including Puregold Stores, S&R Membership Shopping Warehouses, and S&R New York Style Pizza outlets.
The company has achieved success through customer-focused initiatives like “Mas Pinababang Presyo Araw-Araw” and “Hakot Every 1,” which ensure shoppers enjoy substantial savings on everyday essentials especially during times when inflation is high. Another initiative is the Tindahan Ni Aling Puring (TNAP) program, which empowers micro-entrepreneurs and strengthens customer loyalty.
These efforts have given the firm significant same-store sales growth (SSSG) of 3.5% for Puregold Stores and 4.1% for S&R Warehouse Clubs in the first nine months of 2024.
Puregold Price Club’s Pusong Panalo Program, a community-centered initiative, brings school infrastructure improvements, community celebrations, and aid for typhoon-affected families to areas that are often overlooked. By 2028, the program aims to support an additional 30 schools through classroom renovations, essential goods distribution, solar panel installations, and technology donations.
Puregold is set to expand its impactful Pusong Panalo Program in 2025, reaffirming its commitment to advancing education, promoting sustainable development, and empowering rural communities.
