ILOILO City – In Barangay Salvacion Habog-Habog, Molo district, a 37-year-old suspected drug pusher was arrested.
Gil Arenas, a resident of Barangay Cagamutan Norte, Laganes, Iloilo, was detained at the Molo police station.
Fourteen plastic packs of suspected shabu were seized from him.
These were on top of one sachet of the same substance he sold to a police poseur buyer for P1,200 at around 6:40 p.m. on June 6, a police report showed.
Arenas faces charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
On June 7, police arrested a wanted person in Barangay Owak, Calinog, Iloilo.
The 40-year-old Richard Castronuevo was charged with acts of lasciviousness, a police report showed.
Officers served him a warrant of arrest at around 9 a.m.
The court set the bail bond for his temporary liberty at P36,000.
Castronuevo was detained in the custodial facility of the Calinog police station./PN
