ILOILO City – A drug pushing suspect was able to escape from policemen who tried to arrest him in a buy bust operation around 8:30 a.m. yesterday in Barangay Rizal, La Paz district here.
Totong Sanol, 45, ran away after sensing that the man who brought a plastic sachet of shabu from him was an undercover policeman.
Recovered from the scene were one plastic sachet of suspected shabu worth P200, the marked money used in the sting operation and drug paraphernalia, said La Paz police chief, Senior Insp. Edgar Anonoy./PN
