BACOLOD City – He allegedly sold illegal drugs, police said.
The 56-year-old Romeo Gonzaga was nabbed in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Taloc, Bago City, Negros Occidental, a police report showed.
Gonzaga – resident of Barangay 2 here – was caught after he sold a sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover officer for P1,000 around 1:40 p.m. on May 11, it added.
When frisked, the Gonzaga yielded another sachet of suspected illegal drugs.
The suspect was detained in the custodial facility of the Bago City police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
