BACOLOD City – He allegedly sold shabu.
The 46-year-old Rico Rivera was nabbed in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Bug-ang, Toboso, Negros Occidental, a police report showed.
An undercover officer initially bought from Rivera – resident of the village – a sachet of suspected illegal drugs for P1,000 around 3:40 p.m. on June 28, it added.
When frisked, the suspect yielded 10 more sachets of suspected shabu.
The suspect was detained in the lockup cell of the Toboso municipal police station.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against him./PN
