ILOILO City – Police arrested a drug suspect in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Cabilao Pequeño, Carles, Iloilo.
Seven sachets of suspected shabu valued at around P37,000 were seized from 25-year-old Steven Beliran of Barangay Bancal, Carles, police said.
Beliran was nabbed after he sold a sachet of suspected illegal drugs to an undercover cop for P2,400 around 6 p.m. on July 12, the police added.
The suspect was detained in the lockup cell of the Carles municipal police station.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against him./PN
