ILOILO City – A suspected drug pusher was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Sibaguan, Roxas City, Capiz.
Six sachets of suspected shabu were recovered from 39-year-old Michael Villanueva, a police report showed.
An undercover officer initially bought from Michael and his wife Rose, 40, a sachet of suspected illegal drugs around 8:15 p.m. on Sept. 5. But Rose managed to escape from police trying to entrap them.
Aside from suspected shabu, a P 500 marked money were also confiscated.
Michael was detained in the lockup facility of Roxas City police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
