BACOLOD City – A man facing qualified rape charges was arrested in Barangay Minoyan, Murcia, Negros Occidental.
Resident Joremy Villanueva, 38, was caught around 10:30 a.m. on Feb. 6, a police report showed.
Police staged his apprehension on the strength of an arrest warrant issued by Judge Maritess Gumahin of the Regional Trial Court Branch 51 in Bacolod City dated Jan. 19, 2021.
Villanueva was detained in the lockup cell of the Murcia police station.
The court recommended no bail bond for his temporary liberty./PN
