BACOLOD City – Charged with qualified statutory rape, a 38-year-old man was arrested in Barangay Calampisawan, Calatrava, Negros Occidental.
Aldwin Eñirez, a resident of the village, was wanted in Toboso, Negros Occidental.
He had been hiding for five years, police said.
Around noon of June 25, Eñirez was caught on the strength of an arrest warrant issued by Judge Amy Alabado Avellano of Regional Trial Court Branch-58 (San Carlos City, Negros Occidental).
The court denied bail for the temporary liberty of the suspect who was detained at the Toboso police station./PN
