BACOLOD City – He was fixing his cart when a raging carabao attacked him, a police report showed.
The 45-year-old sugarcane farmer Juan Barcillo of Hacienda Guza, Barangay Matab-ang, Talisay City, Negros Occidental died of body injuries, the report stated.
He was not taken to a hospital or clinic for treatment, police said.
It was around 2 a.m. on Tuesday when the incident happened in Hacienda Mana-ul, Barangay Matab-ang, the police added.
The carabao was owned by Perlita Pequiño, another resident of the village./PN
