ILOILO City – A guard was accused of raping a masseuse inside the office of a Provincial Board member at the provincial capitol last week.
The 45-year-old complainant, who hails from this city, said Jail Officer Rowen Ledesma raped her around 10:30 a.m. last May 25, a Saturday.
She filed her complaint at the Iloilo City Police Station 1 on the same day.
Ledesma asked for a massage service, according to the complainant. But when they reached the capitol’s 6th floor, particularly the office of Board member Nielo Tupas, Ledesma allegedly raped her.
Ledesma is now facing a rape case before the Iloilo City Prosecutor’s Office.
Panay News was still reaching him for comment.
In a closed-circuit television footage, Ledesma and the masseuse were seen leaving some 30 minutes after they entered Tupas’ office.
Ledesma has been detailed at the Board member’s office since 2013. In December 2018, he was recalled for reportedly harassing some female employees./PN
