BACOLOD City – Charged with three counts of rape, a man was nabbed in Barangay Hilamonan, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.
Police identified him as 27-year-old John Webb Bermudes of Barangay Tan-awan, Kabankalan City.
Bermudes was caught on the strength on an arrest warrant around 9 a.m. on July 8, a police report showed.
Police officers served the warrant issued by Judge Rodney Magbanua of the Regional Trial Court Branch 61 in Kabankalan City.
The suspect was detained in the lockup facility of the Kabankalan City police station.
The court recommended no bail bond for his temporary liberty./PN
