ILOILO City – Charged with rape, a 76-year-old man was arrested in Barangay Centro, Dao, Capiz.
Police identified him as resident Romeo Apruebo.
He was nabbed on the strength of an arrest around 10 p.m. on July 16, police said.
Officers of the Dao police station served the warrant issued by Judge Esperanza Isabel Poco-Deslate of the Regional Trial Court Branch 14.
Apruebo was detained in the custodial facility of the municipal police station.
The court recommended a P200,000 bail bond for his temporary liberty./PN
