ROXAS City – The most wanted person in Panay, Capiz was arrested in Jaro, Iloilo City.
Jonathan Arguanon, 26, of Barangay Agojo, Panay was a rape suspect.
Panay police officers led by Senior Inspector Romeo Mallari arrested him at Metropolis Subdivision around 3:15 p.m. on Sept. 20.
Judge Esperanza Isabel Poco-Deslate of the Regional Trial Court Branch 19 in Roxas City issued the warrant of arrest against Arguanon on May 27. She recommendedno bail for the suspect’s temporary liberty.
Mallari said the pursuit was part of their Operation Manhunt Charlie, a campaign against wanted persons.
Arguanon was detained at the Panay police station lockup cell./PN
