BACOLOD City – Charged with rape by sexual assault, a man was arrested in Barangay Puey, Sagay City, Negros Occidental.
The 47-year-old Hilton Cañete of Barangay Bangkal, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu was caught on Jan. 7 on the strength of an arrest warrant, a police report showed.
Cañete was detained in the Sagay City police station custodial facility.
The court recommended a P120,000 bail bond for the suspect’s temporary liberty./PN
