BACOLOD City – Charged with rape, a man was arrested in Barangay Punta Mesa, Manapla, Negros Occidental.
Police identified him as 23-year-old July Navarro of Barangay Minoyan, Murcia, Negros Occidental.
Navarro was nabbed on the strength of an arrest warrant around 5 p.m. on April 15, police said.
He was detained in the Manapla police station’s custodial facility.
The court did not recommend a bail bond for his temporary liberty./PN
