BACOLOD City – A 21-year-old man was arrested in Sitio Buclao, Barangay Tuyom, Cauayan, Negros Occidental.
Resident Andrew Maraasin is facing rape charges, police said.
He was caught on the strength of an arrest warrant around 1:30 p.m. on March 12.
Judge Rodney Magbanua of the Regional Trial Court Branch 61 in Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental issued the warrant dated Feb. 23, 2021.
Maraasin was detained in the lockup cell of the Cauayan police station.
No bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty./PN
