ILOILO City – Charged with attempted rape, a man was arrested in Barangay Guadalupe, Janiuay, Iloilo on Sunday.
The 46-year-old Jerry Consuelo was a resident of Barangay Ubian, Maasin town and hiding in Janiuay, police said.
Consuelo was accused of trying to sexually assault a minor in Maasin last year, said the police.
Officers caught the suspect at 11 a.m. and hauled him to the Janiuay police station custodial facility.
The court set the bail bond for the suspect’s temporary liberty at P120,000./PN
