BACOLOD City – Facing rape with frustrated homicide and carnapping charges, a resident of Barangay Cadiz Viejo, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental was arrested.
Thirty-year-old Marlon Beboso Jr. was caught on the strength of two arrest warrants in Barangay Vista Alegre, Barotac Viejo, Iloilo around 2:45 p.m. on Aug. 11. He was detained at the police station there.
Judge Gwendolyn Jiminea of the Regional Trial Court (RTC), Branch 60 in Cadiz City issued the warrant for rape with frustrated homicide on March 11, 2020 with no bail recommended.
Meanwhile, Judge Rodney Magbanua of RTC, Branch 61 in Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental ordered the suspect’s arrest for a carnapping charge.
A P300,000 bail bond was recommended for Beboso’s temporary liberty./PN
