Rayver leaves Star Magic; Is he transferring to GMA?

RAYVER Cruz has officially left ABS-CBN’s talent arm Star Magic.

This was confirmed last night, June 14.

Star Magic handler Nhila Mallari posted a goodbye message for Rayver through Instagram.

She wrote, “This guy deserves this post. Bro @rayvercruz, i will surely miss you! Promise magkukulitan pa rin tayo. I Love you and the best of luck!”

Rayver is still currently seen in the prime-time series “Bagani” as one of Enrique Gil’s allies.

However, it isn’t clear yet if Rayver will be returning to GMA-7.

If he transfers to GMA-7, Rayver will be joining his brother Rodjun, who transferred to the Kapuso network in 2013.

Rayver’s rumored girlfriend, Janine Gutierrez, is also a Kapuso artist.

In late 2017, rumors already floated that Rayver would be transferring to the Kapuso network.

In an interview with PEP.ph in December 2017, Rayver denied the network transfer rumors. However, he refused to answer questions about an existing contract with the Kapamilya network.

Rayver started his career as a host in the magazine show “5&Up” that aired on ABC-5.

In 2000, he did the GMA-7 sitcom Kiss Muna starring Joey de Leon, Elizabeth Oropesa, Ara Mina, and Jomari Yllana.

In 2004, Rayver resumed his career as a dancer when he became a part of the dance group Anime, together with John Wayne Sace, Mhyco Aquino, among others.

In the same year, he got his biggest break in acting via ABS-CBN’s supernatural-themed series “Spirits,” as Maja Salvador’s love interest.

He was also paired with Shaina Magdayao in the TV shows “Ikaw Ang Lahat Sa Akin” (2005), “Star Magic: Abt Ur Luv” (2005) and “Rounin” (2006). (Pep.ph)
