ILOILO City – A rumble between two groups of people in La Paz district left a resident with stab wounds.
The 32-year-old Severino Somonad of the same district sustained stab wounds on the right hand, a police report showed.
Police identified a suspect: Jeffrey Mateo, also of La Paz.
The rumble ensued when the group of Somonad came across the group of Mateo in Barangay Railway, La Paz last Friday night, stated a police report, citing investigation.
Mateo fled after the incident, police said, citing witnesses.
The La Paz police have yet to determine the whereabouts of the suspect as of this writing./PN
