BACOLOD City – An estimated P300,000 worth of property was lost in a fire that struck Glendale Subdivision in Barangay Granada late Monday night.
The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) received a call at around 9:27 p.m. informing them about a house on fire.
The blaze lasted for almost 30 minutes.
The occupant and lessor of the house, 78-year-old Godofredo Pea Jr., sustained first-degree burns on his right ear, neck and right arm.
The house, meanwhile, owned by Carmela Sanchez, was “totally damaged”, according to the BFP.
Arson investigators have yet to determine what caused the blaze./PN
