JORDAN, Guimaras – Eighteen employees of the Guimaras provincial government retiring this month each got a P44,000 pabaon (parting gift) recently.
It was the provincial government’s way of showing gratitude to these employees who served the capitol and the people of Guimaras for many years, according toGov. Samuel Gumarin.
They contributed to Guimaras’ progress, he stressed, by helping efficiently deliver basic services to the people of the province.
Gumarin was hopeful that the pabaon would go a long way in helping the retiring employees.
Last month, December 2020, the provincial government also honored 19 capitol retirees./PN
