RICO Blanco remained mum on the alleged cheating conversations between his ex-girlfriend Maris Racal and Anthony Jennings as bared by the latter’s ex-girlfriend, Jamela Villanueva.
Racal and Jennings made headlines after Villanueva exposed their alleged intimate conversations on her Instagram Stories on Tuesday night, December 3 as a way of “protecting [her] peace.”
Blanco, on the other hand, maintained his silence on the expose and simply shared his unforgettable memories from his recent gigs in Alaminos, Cainta, Bulacan, and Manila, on the same day.
Blanco’s post was filled with supportive messages from netizens, with some noting that he was “saved from the wrong person,” apparently alluding to Racal.
Racal confirmed her split with Blanco in a Star Magic press conference in July 2024 after a five-year relationship, reiterating that there was no “third party” involved in their breakup. She also pointed out that Jennings is “out of the picture” and it’s a matter between the both of them.
Jennings and Villanueva, on the other hand, were in a relationship for seven years before parting ways sometime in 2024. It remains unknown when they exactly ended their romance.
On Tuesday night, Villanueva exposed the alleged intimate conversations Jennings had with his love team partner, Racal, prior to the breakup.
Villanueva’s revelation included photos of Jennings and Racal’s exchange which she obtained from the actor’s phone.
“I am grateful that Anthony finally chose to speak the truth because I had been carrying the weight of it all on my own for so long,” she said, referring to Jennings’ recent confirmation of their split.
“When Maris came into the picture, I was genuinely happy for you both, I even chose to be supportive, despite the red flags I couldn’t ignore,” she added. “I respected your craft. I believed in you both. But betrayal like this cuts deep.”
Villanueva then shared Jennings and Racal’s exchange back in June where the pair agreed to delete their messages on each other’s phones, hoping they would no longer need to do so “someday.”
At the latter part of her post, Villanueva dedicated an open letter to Jennings, thanking him for their almost seven year-relationship. (Hannah Mallorca © Philippine Daily Inquirer)
