ILOILO City – Two motorcycle riders who figured in a crash in Barangay Poblacion, Alimodian, Iloilo may face traffic rule violation charges, police said.
The vehicles of Joseph Ledesma, 26, and Ryan Castro, 22, had no registration plates. Castro had no driver’s license, said the police.
The crash between the two motorcycles happened around 9:30 a.m. yesterday on corner Libo-on-San Rufino streets, Barangay Poblacion.
The impact threw the riders off their respective vehicles, police said.
Ledesma was wounded on a finger. He was sent home. Injured on the right arm and right ankle, Castro was taken to the Aleosan District Hospital in Barangay Bancal where he remained as of this writing.
Both were residents of Leon town. Ledesma was from Buncag Street while Castro was from Barangay Banagan, police said.
Negotiating Libo-on Street, Ledesma was bound for the Alimodian public market at the time.
His motorcycle crashed against Castro’s when it reached the San Rufino Street corner.
Their motorcycles – Ledesma’s Kawasaki and Castro’s Rusi – incurred damage, police said./PN
