‘Riding-in-tandem’ kills one Iloilo city hall job-hire

ILOILO City – An Iloilo City Hall employee was shot dead in Barangay San Juan, Molo, Iloilo City, on Friday.

Riding-in-tandem suspects shot Glenn Peremne, 42, while he was riding his motorcycle home.

According to Molo Police Chief Major Marlyn Roquero the victim was shot from behind by .9MM caliber pistol.

The police chief added that they have three persons of interest who worked in the same place as the victim.

Peremne was a job-hire safety and health officer assigned to the Iloilo Fish Port Complex.

According to his wife, the victim had a misunderstanding with a certain person at his work place and received a text message telling him to take care.

The police secured closed-circuit television footage of the suspects after the incident.

Roquero has ordered police officers to conduct checkpoints especially for motorcycle riders./PN
