FORMER “Pinoy Big Brother” housemate and viral star Rita Gaviola has graduated from senior high school.
Rita shared the news with her social media followers as she posted her graduation photo on Tuesday, May 2. She was joined by her non-showbiz partner and their baby daughter Kianna.
“Kayo ‘yung dahilan kung bakit ko ginagalingan sa lahat ng bagay,” she wrote in her post.
Fans of Rita congratulated her on the personal milestone.
It was in August last year when Rita â also known as âBadjao Girlâ â revealed that she was already a mother.
In an interview with journalist Karen Davila, Rita shared how being a mom changed her life.
“Blessing talaga si baby sa amin kasi simula nung dumating siya, ang daming nabago sa akin lalo na sa daddy niya,” she said.
âKumbaga dati, kasi medyo may pagka-isip bata pa ako. So parang nag-mature talaga ako nung dumating siya sa buhay ko. Siya na lang talaga iniisip ko, hindi sarili ko.”
Despite all the harsh comments she received online, Rita said she has no regrets being a mom at 19 years old.
Rita rose to fame in 2016 after photos of her begging with her brother during the Pahiyas Festival went viral online. She was 13 years old then.
She eventually became a teen housemate of the popular reality show “Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky Season 7,” where she was dubbed as the âBadjao Girl of Lucena.â Last year, she also joined “Itâs Showtimeâs” popular segment Sexy Babe. (PUSH)
