ILOILO City – An elderly woman was found dead while her 10-year-old grandson remained missing after they were swept by river current in Barangay Daga-ay, Tubungan, Iloilo.
The 64-year-old Rosalinda Atabas drowned. A rescue team from the local government of Tubungan found her lifeless body at around 11 a.m. on Sunday.
Atabas and her grandson were fishing at the Jarao River at around 4 p.m. on Saturday when a strong current swept them.
