BACOLOD City –Two persons were injured in a road crash in Barangay Iglau-an, Murcia, Negros Occidental.
Police identified them as 18-year-old Christian Gallego and 21-year-old Adrian Ortega who both sustained body injuries.
According to investigation, a 10-wheeler truck driven by Romeo Baguio, 44, of Toboso, Negros Occidental hit the motorcycle driven by Gallego with Ortega as back rider around 5:12 p.m. on Saturday.
Gallego and Ortega were brought to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Hospital in Bacolod City for medical treatment.
Baguio was detained in the lockup cell of the Murcia police station, facing charges./PN
