ROXAS City – A village council man was killed in a road accident in Barangay Balighot, Maayon, Capiz.
The 53-year-old resident Rafael Dacibar died of head injuries, police said.
Police investigation showed Dacibar was on his way home when he lost control of his driven motorcycle and crashed into culvert railing around 9:30 pm on Wednesday.
“Umigo ang iya ulo sa matig-a nga bagay,” Maayon municipal police station chief Lieutenant Marc Anthony Garcia told Panay News.
Dacibar was brought to the Bailan District Hospital in Panitan, Capiz where the attending physician declared him dead on arrival./PN
