BACOLOD City – He was driving a motorcycle when a cargo truck hit him.
Twenty-three-year-old Nolie Galvel was killed after figuring in a crash in Purok Kawayanan, Barangay Tagoc, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.
Galvel – resident of Barangay Bantayan, Kabankalan City – sustained injuries on the body, police said.
According to police investigation, Galvel was driving a motorcycle when a cargo truck driven by Avelino Lesondra of Bais City, Negros Oriental hit him around 1 a.m. on Saturday.
Officers of the Kabankalan City police station conducted a manhunt operation against Lesondra, who fled after the incident./PN
