BACOLOD City – He was on his way home on board a Mazda car when he crashed against a tree in Hacienda Bacsay, La Castellana, Negros Occidental.
Sixty-year-old Orve Ortegue was killed, a police report showed.
According to police investigation, the vehicle driven by Ortegue with passenger Hernani Penafiel, 56, of Barangay Robles, La Castellana hit a tree around 5:50 p.m. on Thursday.
They were brought to the La Castellana Rural Health Unit where the attending physician declared Ortegue “dead on arrival.”/PN
