ILOILO City – A couple was injured in a vehicular accident in Barangay Bungca, Barotac Nuevo, Iloilo.
Mark Jason Santos, 29, and his wife, Dianne Mae, were recuperating at the Barotac Nuevo District Hospital, police said. .
The couple – residents of Barangay Lagubang, Barotac Nuevo – were onboard a Toyota Innova when a dump truck overtook their vehicle, resulting to the crash around 8:30 p.m. on Jan. 4.
Truck driver Renz Delgado, 25, of Barangay Tabucan, Barotac Nuevo fled but was later arrested.
He was taken to the municipal police station, facing charges./PN
