ANTIQUE – A motorcycle driver was declared dead on arrival at the Justice Calixto Zaldivar Memorial District Hospital following a road accident.
Jovan P. Martinez, married, of Barangay Cabugao, Pandan, hit the gutter of the bridge in the town’s Barangay Duyong at around 11 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21.
He succumbed to neck, knee and leg injuries.
Police Staff Sergeant Arnel Delos Santos said they received a call from the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office about the accident.
Initial investigation showed Martinez was under the influence of intoxicating liquor, Delos Santos added./PN
