BACOLOD City – Cash amounting to P13,500 was stolen from a man in Barangay Napoles, Bago City, Negros Occidental.
Not only was the 64-year-old resident Jimmy Erespe robbed, but shot to death as well, a police report showed.
From what the police gathered so far, three male suspects barged into Erespe’s house around 1:30 a.m. on Dec. 31 by destroying the padlock of the front door.
After taking the cash, one of the suspects shot Erespe on the head using a revolver, causing the victim’s death.
Officers from the Bago City police station were still identifying and locating the suspects./PN
