BACOLOD City – Two of the three suspects in a robbery incident in Barangay Bato, Sagay City, Negros Occidental were arrested and held at the local police station.
Jan Raylin Jumalon and Danilo Tambo Jr. were both residents of Cadiz City, while a certain Beboy Espino remained at large as of this writing.
Victim Rico Eusebio, 47, of Cadiz City and a collector for a money-lending Indian national, said the incident occurred around 3:10 p.m. on Jan. 7.
Eusebio reported to the police that while he was driving his service motorcycle, he noticed three motorcycle-riding suspects were tailing him.
When the victim reached Barangay Bato, the suspects caught up, pointed unidentified guns at him, and declared a hold-up, according to the police.
The suspects took Eusebio’s bag, which contained P10,000 in cash./PN
